Story
When we talk about the ship captains, we often think of men but it's not the case with this one.
Anna Shchetinina was the first women ever to be a captain on an ocean-going vessel. Born in Vladivostok, at the age of 24 she received her navigation license and became a captain with 27 years of age. She fought bravely and had an important part during the World War II where she became a hero of the nation.
Today, there is an Island named by her, Cape and she became an honorary citizen of Vladivostok. Her monument still stands in the old Maritime Cemetery in Vladivostok.
Made with materials Anna had on her disposal while sailing to gain her nation's freedom, this bracelet is perfect for the daring ones, who one to make their own mark in this world.
Will get you compliments for sure!
